I'm a believer in creating space that tells you about a person in any environment, so it was an all too perfect solution to create my own teaching space at home. My teaching space is the biggest hub of music one person could have in a small living space, complete with a comical amount of ukuleles and all of my husband's guitars (there's a joke in here about how musicians attract musicians). The area is small and cozy with a surprisingly good acoustic bounce so that we can really make sure you hear everything you need to know about your playing, which is the best way to master it. But not only is this space covered head to toe in musical instruments and paraphernalia, it'll also tell you quite a bit about me. As a self proclaimed halloween weirdo, we do have quite a few spooky decorations up 24/7, as well as a little family history spread across my walls. I like to think expressing my oddities out loud will help you feel comfortable to open up to the many ways you want your music to reflect who you are, because we all like something a little strange, and we should always feel comfortable being our unique selves.
